I have a fussy eater. There’s only particular foods they’ll eat. There have been periods where they’ve refused to eat anything but one or two specific meals.

This year I’ve made a push to expand the range of foods they’ll eat, with a minimum of 6. (One for each night of the week with a family dinner or take out on the seventh night.)
To do this I picked up every kids cookbook I saw while op shopping, anything with large glossy pictures for my little one to approve. I now have a rather extensive collection of cook books, with several more dishes to try and 9 recipes on cards for them to chose 6 meals each week.
I designed and printed up a set of recipe cards, wrote out the recipes and took photographs of each dish to help them chose.

It’s been going fairly well. A lot less nagging, a lot more variety, and a lot less stress over how on earth to manage what’s for dinner. (At least for the little one who refuses to eat what the adults do.)
If you could use a set of recipe cards with a space for a photograph and space to note down any changes, preferences or ratings of the meals then these cards might be just what you need!
I’ve added them to the products section of the website here at no cost. Afterall I made them for my own use.
