Description
I live in regional Victoria so during the lockdowns of 2020 and 2021 the city of Melbourne was out of my reach. Being a girl from the suburbs as I was before before the move, not being able to easily access the city was a distinct loss. So I made my own.
While I’d have liked to pop into the city and do some sketches I had to draw these from images I could find online and Google street view. (Getting a nice view of the back of the Arts Centre was a challenge!)
This set includes:
- Flinders Street Station
- The Arts Centre
- The Shrine of Remembrance
- A W-Class Tram
- Degraves Street Laneway including Street Dining Tables
You will need:
-
A printer
-
A4 paper of at least 80 GSM
-
Scissors
-
Pencils, felt tip pens, paints, if you wish to colour the page.
If you’re missing Melbourne because you’ve moved away, you aspire to visit and would like a little incentive on your desk or just looking for a fun project for a quiet afternoon this is a perfect little project for you.
